What is on the machine, and what version it is on.

python
Python 3.14 with free-threading, supported rather than tolerated. uv is the default installer. pip is still installed, still works, and we have stopped bringing it up.
data
PostgreSQL 18 with pgvector, MariaDB 12, MySQL 8.4 LTS and Valkey. We have never removed a database engine from this list, only stopped defaulting to one.
panels
cPanel & WHM, Plesk Obsidian and DirectAdmin. cPanel raised its licence again in January, as it has in every January we have been a licensee.
certificates
ACME automation on everything. Maximum certificate lifetime dropped to 200 days on 15 March. Six-day certificates are available, and are issued mostly to accounts that asked twice.
interfaces
REST, webhooks and SSE. The panel, the REST API and the MCP server expose the same operations, in that order of age.
Network and access
Uptime
99.99%
Network uptime, measured at our edge and published monthly whether or not it was met. The measurement has not changed since 2012, which is why the archive is comparable and occasionally unflattering.
Shell

Every plan includes a shell. Most accounts never open one; the ones that do are usually an agent, which was not the constituency we had in mind.
Estate
corvus is emulated. The original hardware left the building in 2004, the hostname still resolves, the nightly boot check still passes, and we have stopped putting it on the roadmap.
Everything else is in fra1, iad1, sin1 or lhr1, on the same image, on hardware bought this decade.

Skype closed in May last year and stays in the table, because removing a column requires a decision. Angelfire has been in it since 1997 and has never required one.
Changelog
Recent changes.
- EU AI Act high-risk obligations apply. Added to the compliance list at the bottom, where new entries go.
- The model allowlist is a text file with a date on each line. Two names came off it and went back on inside a fortnight.
- Two panels on this page are translucent again. This time it was our idea.
- Ubuntu 26.04 LTS on new containers. Node.js 22 moves to maintenance.
- Certificates now cap at 200 days. Renewal was already automated, so nothing happened.
- Evening peak arrived in two places at once, eighty miles apart. Both origins held, including the amphitheatre.
